The organisational structure of JKLF is as follows:-

(I):
14 Central Office Bearers: These include the Chairman, Senior Vice Chairman, Three Vice Chairmen (the presidents of IHK, AKGB and UK zones are Vice Chairmen 1,2,3 respectively); Chief Organiser, Additional and Dy. Chief Organisers (the zonal organisers of IHK and AKGB zones respectively); Secretary General, Additional / Deputy / Assistant Secretaries General (the General Secretaries of IHK, AKGB and UK zone respectively); Secretary Finance and Publicity Secretary. Of these the main five (Chairman, senior Vice Chairman, Chief Organiser, Secretary General and Secretary Finances) are nominated to the office by the out-going Central Executive Committee (CEC), Zonal Executive Committees (of IHK, AKGB and UK zones) and Central Committee of JKLF student wing (JKSLF) and elected by the Central Electoral College comprising the CEC, the Zonal Working Committees (of IHK, AKGB and UK zones), JKSLF Central Committee, the heads of the branches in Europe, Middle East, USA, Far East while the remaining office bearers are elected by their respective Zonal Electoral Colleges.
(II):
Central Executive Committee (CEC): CEC includes all the Central office bearers, Chairman and Secretary General of JKSLF and fifteen members (seven from IHK, five from AKGB elected by their respective Zonal Electoral Colleges and three nominated by the Chairman with the approval of the already elected members of the CEC. The CEC is the chief decision making organ of the organisation.
(III):
Standing Committees: The work of different fields has been assigned to respective committees which function under instructions and guidance of the CEC through the Chairman. These Committees are:-
(A):
Policy and Planning Committee: This comprises of the heads of all the Sub- Committees and the Senior Vice Chairman, Secretary General and Presidents of all the three zones.
(B):
Sub-Committees: These Sub-Committees are ;- (1) Political Committee, (2) Diplomatic Committee, (3) Defence Committee, (4) Finance Committee, (5) Organisational Committee and (6) Publicity Committee.:
(C):
Auxiliary Committees: The following Auxiliary Committees will be set up at appropriate time: (1) National Economic Affairs Committee (2) State Minorities and Human Rights Protection Committee (3) National Educational Affairs Committee (4) National Heritage and Cultural Affairs Committee and (5) Nationcl Public Welfare and Religious Affairs Committee.
